WakeSun Community Solar Garden
Mortenson Construction broke ground for this project in September 2016 and completed construction in January 2017. The WakeSun Community Solar Garden Project provides energy credits to residential and non-residential subscribers of the solar garden in Stearns and adjacent counties under long-term subscription agreements managed by SunShare Management. The renewable energy and renewable energy credits associated with the solar garden are being sold to Xcel Energy under its Solar Rewards Community program.
